This protein data bank site is still in beta – it will become the main RCSB PDB site in Jan 2006. I no longer have any real need for such a resource (it would have been very useful at one time) but I still enjoy looking at protein structures and updating my (increasingly shaky) knowledge of their functions and activities. Anyone seeking information on proteins should find plenty in this data bank.

A molecule of the month is featured — this month read about the acetylcholine receptor.
