Tipsy flowers – that don’t tip over


A little whiskey, vodka, gin or tequila is a great way to keep certain houseplants from getting too tall and flopping over. Dilute alcohol acts as a growth retardant, without affecting flower size or fragrance.

Beer and wine, however, wreak havoc and should be avoided.
